Hokey Pokey Ice Cream

We made Hokey Pokey ice-cream. Originally we made our Hokey Pokey to see the changes in the kitchen by mixing syrup, sugar and baking soda. We heated the sugar mix and then add baking soda. It was great to see the quick but amazing change in the pot!




The top one was successful hokey pokey, and the bottom picture is burnt hokey pokey!! Some of us were brave enough to try the taste of the burnt hokey pokey! Then we decided to use the normal hokey pokey to put it into our ice-cream.

    I was lucky enough to get a taste of the ice-cream, it was delicious! Well done Room 17, how lucky you are to have a teacher who does such exciting activities with you.
