Just a Minute Speakers

KK's speech was about her adorable pet 'Coco'. She talked about how she teaches some tricks and look after Coco with her family. We saw some lovely photos of her and Coco.

 GR shared his special soft and cuddly  'Fishy' which he got it when he went to the movie 'Finding Nimo'. He talked about how he got it and sleeps with it at night.

Next week we'll have AS and GT to share their special news and report. We look forward to hearing them!

Family Fun Evening!

Last Friday we had our 'Family Fun Evening' which was organised by PTA. Many family came to enjoy this event. Almost everyone had some activities to have fun with. There were parachute, volleyball, tag war, soccer and potato and spoon race. Some family were lucky to win the Ruffle items. The Ruffle ticket money and Fruji profit will be donated to year 6 camp.

FL shared her special beads art from Japan. She explained us how she made them. She is a crafty person! There were butterflies, panda bear, and all sorts of things she made.
MC shared his medals and trophies which he won in soccer tournament. He has been playing since 5 years old. Every year they change their team name, but it always be a type of fish name. This year is Mackerel he thinks. He also plays tennis as well.
Well done for a organized speeches. We look forward to hearing from GR and KK next week.

Swimming Carnival

Last Friday we had our Swimming Carnival.

I went to the swimming pool to do the year 3 swimming carnival. we went in our house and I was in green Batten. The whirlpool was like a invisible monster pushing you to the other way. My favourite thing in the carnival was the huge sharky game.

At the swimming carnival, we played whirlpool and other games,too. Batten won the house points. We all did great swimming. there were big splashes. My favourite game was whirlpool because everyone was running one way and then we had to go the other way.

On Friday we had our swimming carnival. We did whirlpool. It was so much fun. It was like a big teddy bear pushing me, but I loved it so much. I want to do it again at every swimming lesson.

When we made the whirlpool, we had to run one way then Wayne said the other way. It was hard to go the other way, because the water was pulling us the other way. it felt like the current was pushing us.

My favourite game was called whirlpool. We had to run around the pool. then we ran the other way. it was hard to go the other way, because the water was pushing me back. It felt like 0 people were pushing me back!

Just a Minute Speaker Week 5

EO shared her special collection of animal characters with us. There were Mice, Hedgehogs, Cows and Sheep families. She is thinking about joining a special club for these characters. By joining it, she was going to gain more characters through the club. She has named all the characters, and she remembers them all! You will have no problem having big family EO!
Well done for making a lovely speech.

Just a minute speaker Week4

CJ shared his special transformers 'Optimus Prime and Bumblebee'. He was very proud to show all the things they can do. It takes a little courage to speak in front of audience, but CJ did beautifully! Well done:)
